Clopay Introduces Bridgeport™ Steel Garage Doors with Intellicore^® Insulation

Fresh curb appeal ideas abound with a new line of recessed panel garage doors from Clopay called Bridgeport Steel.

Bridgeport offers the clean, simple lines and symmetry reminiscent of traditional stile and rail wood doors in a durable, low-maintenance, insulated three-layer steel construction.

Homeowners can choose from narrow or extended width panel designs with optional windows and decorative hardware. The steel doors come in 10 standard paint colors, including Charcoal and Black, and four Ultra-Grain^® wood-look finishes.

Bridgeport Steel garage doors feature Clopay’s Intellicore insulation technology in 2”- or 1-3/8” panel thicknesses for energy efficiency and quiet operation. The HFC-free polyurethane foam expands to fill the steel door cavity to keep the garage 10 – 20 degrees warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. This type of insulation also strengthens the door for better dent resistance and long-lasting curb appeal.

Clopay Intellicore insulated garage doors comply with HFC-free mandates enacted by states including California, Washington, New Jersey, and also Canada.

Clopay has added Bridgeport Steel to its Door Imagination System. The online design tool allows users to upload a photo of their home, and try on different door styles before they buy.
