With 35,000 views, this project ranks first among Clopay’s Instagram reels for good reason -- it is gorgeous!
Allie, a.k.a. proverbsthirtyonegirl, has charmed homeowners with creative updates to her family’s 120-year-old farmhouse. In 2021, they finally added a home necessity for living in Minnesota – an insulated garage.
A black Reserve Extira garage door was the perfect choice for a low-maintenance material in a design that fits right in with the classic red barn on the farm.

We are simply in love with the Simple Barn. Another addition to an existing home, this space was added for equipment storage and a place to work on projects.
The Avante glass garage door is the star on this moody, modern outbuilding that sits in perfect contrast to the white Scandinavian style house the family calls home.

Natural is the new neutral in exterior color palettes, and these homes do not disappoint in their execution.
A Reserve Wood Limited Edition door in Douglas Fir warms up this dark exterior, playing off the tones and textures in the stone and lighting.

Clopay’s custom wood team can work from an architect’s drawing or just a sketch on a napkin to build the door of your dreams.
Salter Contractors LLC chose a Reserve Custom Wood door in a Chevron pattern for this residence. A clear stain brings out the rich tonal variation inherent in Natural Cedar.

Florida builder Envy Homes used an Avante glass garage door to maximize indoor-outdoor living space on the 2022 New American Home in Orlando.
Fitted with tempered glass panels, the Avante fills the garage with natural light during the day and delivers a dramatic effect at night when the lights go on inside.
The painted white frame with opaque glass blends seamlessly with the home’s other windows and doors to create a stunning architectural focal point and add more square footage to the courtyard. And since it’s made of corrosion-resistant aluminum, it’s resilient in humid climates.

A few miles away, architect Phil Kean renovated an existing mid-century modern home with exacting detail. He also chose the Avanteto match the expansive windows that are iconic of this era.

The Louver design is one of the most versatile styles in our Canyon Ridge line-up, complementing almost any home, from a coastal cottage to a Craftsman bungalow.
Builder Jordan Maroules of SLD Custom Homes picked Canyon Ridge Louver Design 51 painted Sherwin Williams® Charcoal Blue to fit the nautical theme of the Southern Living 2022 Idea House located in the maritime village of Oriental, N.C.

The June 2022 winner of our imagineNATION Makeover Contest also opted for a Louver door, in a Walnut stain finish to give his Craftsman-era garage authentic, timeless appeal. He loves the dimension the horizontal slats add to what is otherwise a simple carriage house garage door.
The moisture-resistant composite construction on Clopay Canyon Ridge doors will withstand any type of weather from the coastal Carolina humidity to harsh Wisconsin winters. An insulated steel core improves the door’s energy efficiency and durability.
If you thought a glass garage door that opens up to a private courtyard with a pool was cool, wait until you see how these builders used the Avante in these projects.

College game day is more fun in the backyard but you need a big screen TV. This one is protected year-round by an Avante door on a structure that also houses the sound system.

When it comes to this house, the picture is worth a thousand words. Or to borrow from Coldplay, “lights will guide you home.”
